Project Overview

Baharnani Exhibitions created and implemented a custom 20m x 15m outdoor activation zone for FAB, delivering a big format experience fan engagement zone in a public event setting. The aim of the project was to create an immersive outdoor brand experience to stimulate audience involvement, enhance visitor contact and boost FAB’s profile in a high footfall event environment. The activation area was conceived to bring together impactful architecture, fluid visitor mobility and experiential interaction elements to provide a memorable and visually dynamic atmosphere for attendees.

Client Requirement

FAB needed a big outdoor activation area that would draw in visitors, allow for high levels of audience movement and generate a significant brand presence in the public. The set-up required to enable contact and involvement, but yet retain a premium and visually compelling ambiance for big size public events. The customer also wanted to ensure the activation space was very visible from numerous directions, while also maintaining good visitor flow and crowd management throughout the event length.

Our Design & Fabrication Approach

From the point of view of visibility, accessibility and large-scale audience interaction, our team created an open-air experience activation concept.

The components of the setup consisted of:

  • Focal point of the central structure of the round pavilion
  • Access that allows constant flow of visitors
  • Branding with signage visibility
  • Use of ambiance lighting to enhance the evening experience
  • Open spaces for engagement and interaction
  • Integration of natural landscape elements to give an upscale feel

The design and build was done to provide a strong structure with visual appeal and functionality suitable for outdoor use with high traffic from visitors.

Visitor Experience Features

The activation zone was meant to provide an interesting public experience while facilitating crowd flow and interaction.
